Summary.
The BocaChicaBeach.net webmaster (Jim) is an American.  His first visit to Boca Chica was in 1994.  He spends about 25% of his time in the Dominican Republic and the rest is divided amongst various USA and other international destinations.  As an avid water skier, a lover of music and dance, a student of language, and filled with energy, Jim finds Boca Chica to be the perfect place to relax, party, interact with people from all over the world, or just to soak up the sun while enjoying an ice cold beer on the beach.

Personality.
Jim attributes the success of  his business ventures to the philosophy he applies in each:  Give people what they want, when and how they want it, do it better than anybody else, better than they could do it themselves, and  keep profits reasonable.  He believes honesty and disclosure reduces baggage.  He believes more in working smart than in working hard.  Although he personally works very hard, he plays even harder and it's often difficult to tell if he is working or playing.  

Jim is the quintessential optimist and believes that all people are inherently good.  He has built a reputation of impeccable credibility and for seeing the big picture without losing sight of the moment.  He stands behind his word and uses sound logical reasoning for each and every statement, comment, claim, and opinion.  In other words, if he says it, he'll back it up - no B.S. Should he learn he is wrong, he will be the first to publish the error, the fix, and give proper credit to the source, as he doesn't let his ego get in the way of honesty, truth, the facts, or disclosure.  He holds integrity is higher than personal pride and holds personal pride to be more important than profit. 

Jim is not into acquiring or accumulating things.  Nor is he about "saving" the world.  He enjoys people, interaction, learning, and strong experiences.  A heated exchange that leaves others exhausted and emotionally drained typically leaves Jim impassioned from the strong experience and observant of the opportunity for knowledge or personal growth.  He exhibits tremendous passion or enthusiasm in discussions yet never loses his temper or objectivity.  

Jim's businesses are all privately owned and his goal in business is to achieve the freedom to discover and enjoy life, and to develop his personal spirituality.  He believes one must be selfish to be genuine in generosity.  By helping himself first, he is more effectively able to help others.  Through competence, integrity, efficiency, and attention to details, he is able to walk with his head held high, never looking down upon others nor feeling envy of those who fare better.  He offers his hand to the less fortunate and applauds the success of others.  Never will you know a more sincere man, a man who says what he believes and believes what he says.

Don't forget about fun.  Jim is just a fun loving boy in many ways and seems to always be having fun.  He takes no credit for his successes, feeling he was just born in the right place at the right time and that it is his duty to do all he can with what he has to work with.

Jim operates a variety of local and international companies.  They include tourism, travel, software, programming, computer consulting services, Internet technologies, web sites, marketing, telecommunications, retail, photography, video production, modeling, e-commerce, merchant banking, financial services, and sports. 

Jim has sold software and/or programming services for many well known corporations, including McDonalds, EDS, Deluxe Data Systems, MasterCard, National Bank of Detroit, Bank One, Western Union, First Chicago, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Automatic Data Processing, Springs Mills, John Deere, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Raymond James and Associates, and the New York Cash Exchange (NYCE money card network).  He is well known in the field of Non-Stop Tandem On-Line Transaction processing.  He has set up temporary residence in 17 different cities in order to facilitate servicing his clients.  His software and consulting services corporation is known for delivering "zero-defect" turn-key software and top of the tier talent.
